Braids Gang

Braids Gang is a positive media platform inspiring confidence through the power of hair, beauty, and a positive lifestyle. We're one of the world's largest and fastest-growing social media communities, with over 539,000 followers online and counting.

Braids Gang supports young girls through self-care and beauty products, daily inspiration, and a range of industry events, bringing together hairstylists, beauticians, and brands to celebrate natural hair and champion self-love.

Together with Our Pain 2 Power, we run dedicated programmes to help young girls build confidence, resilience, and a positive sense of self.

Our mission

Our mission is to champion self-love in young girls everywhere, equipping them with the skills and confidence to become the best version of themselves.

Founder of one of the world's largest social media communities with over half a million followers.

Gabriella battled anxiety, low self-esteem, and negative body image throughout her teenage years. Seeking positive female role models she could relate to, she turned to the online community. As she began sharing her personal struggles and experiences, Gabriella discovered that many other women and girls were facing similar challenges.

This led to the growth of her supportive community from just 5 followers to over 500,000.

Gabriella Anderson founded the Braids Gang community to inspire confidence and champion self-love among young females, encouraging them to embrace their authentic selves and achieve positive outcomes. In addition to leading this community, Gabriella is a Youth Mentor, Speaker, Specialist Teacher, and Executive Producer.
